DESCRIPTION:Would you like the chance to meet Jibberjabber the cow? \nBook yourself in for a guided barn tour where you can meet the cows up close and personal and ask questions! We love the opportunity to share our knowledge\, provide you with an experience that will allow you to go home understanding a bit more about dairy farming. \nIn this day and age\, the average person is far removed from the roots of a farm which is where your food is grown and nourished. Taking the opportunity to learn about a farm to table operation will not only be fun but you will acquire knowledge about how your Mistyglen dairy products are made right from the cow to the bottle and provides you the chance to meet the farmer. \nNow\, Jibberjabber is the most famous cow in the barn and her number is 282 but don’t be afraid to ask questions such as “Do all the cows have names? Typically she never misses the chance to assume her position as she awaits for you to make your way to the milking cow end of the barn. \n \nWe will take you into the robot room and give you a first hand experience on how technologically advanced farming can be – the days of hand milking are long gone and Dorothy (our robot) will always be up for the challenge to show you a world of awe\, as she works away milking cows 24 hours a day. \nTours will begin promptly starting at the Creamery at 11am\, please arrive 5-10 mins ahead of time\, rain or shine. \nCost will be $5 a person\, 3 and under are free. Tours will be capped at 25 people.
