DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Big Daddy Dairy Day – Cows\, Curds and Cars! \nThis year we decided to move our annual Father’s Day (Anniversary) event to the following weekend June 22nd. We started this event to celebrate the beginning of our creamery but also a celebration of our community. \nBDDD is an Open House that has something for the whole family.  Come visit the milking cows\, enjoy food trucks\, live music\, wagon rides\, horse drawn wagon rides\, face painting\, educational displays and\, of course…COWS! \nWe will be hosting a classic car show this year so if you have a special classic you wish to showcase\, come on out. Classic car entries will receive 2 free passes into the event. \nThe dairy barn will be open to the public\, so you can meet all of the bovines that contribute to the products we sell.  This includes the infamous Jibberjabber\, who will certainly be waiting to get some attention from all the visitors. \nBelmont Fire Department will providing “Jaws of Life” demonstration. \nAND….the annual sand pile returns for the pleasure of kids big and small. \nSo come on out and see the farm on June 22nd from 11am until 4pm.

Typically she never misses the chance to assume her position as she awaits for you to make your way to the milking cow end of the barn. \n \nWe will take you into the robot room and give you a first hand experience on how technologically advanced farming can be – the days of hand milking are long gone and Dorothy (our robot) will always be up for the challenge to show you a world of awe\, as she works away milking cows 24 hours a day. \nTours will begin promptly starting at the Creamery at 11am\, please arrive 5-10 mins ahead of time\, rain or shine. \nCost will be $5 a person\, 3 and under are free. DESCRIPTION:What is better than getting your picture taken with Santa and cows!!! \nCome on out on December 16th from 1-4pm and meet our cows\, learn about dairy farming and enjoy some free milk and cookies. \nCookies being supplied by At Your Bake & Call and of course\, no other than our own milk\, produced and bottled right here on the farm. \nThere will be 3 food trucks attending this event so come with your appetite to help support all businesses helping to create this experience for you. \nWe are partnering with Elgin Middlesex\, Essex-Kent & Lambton milk committees so don’t be afraid to ask questions to ensure you go home knowing a little more than when you arrived. There will be several local dairy farmers on site to help educate your visit. Don’t forget to find Jibberjabber while you are here. \nThe farm store will be open for the day and is located in the white building in front of the milking barn where you will find our very own fresh cheese curds\, fresh milk\, yogurt and dry curd cottage cheese. Our farm raised freezer beef and roasting chickens is available in the farm store with many other local unique items. \nParking Information – PLEASE READ – Our farm will have minimal parking as we will not be able to use field space if the ground is not frozen. We will be offering a bus pick up at the back of the Belmont arena as an alternative. We certainly don’t want folks getting stuck off the beaten path. Although this might not be ideal\, it is a safer option than people parking along the road with no shoulder. The bus will be travelling back and forth from the Belmont Arena to the farm for the duration of the event.

DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, October 1st \nJoin us on Oct 1st for our fall open house! \nDo you have a classic car? If so\, join us free and show off your sweet ride! \nWe will be hosting an information session with the Alzheimer’s Society from 9am – 10 (free admission for attending session) \nThe milking cow barn will be open for visiting\, seeing how the robot works and don’t forget to grab your free glass of milk. \nIn addition\, we have a full line of wonderful vendors (over 30)\, 3 food trucks (Grill Cheezery\, Big Daddy Bacon & Basement Kitchen)\, Beer from Natterjacks and live music from Kilowatt Annie lined up. \nOther activities include: \nWagon rides\, dairy museum exhibit\, sand pile\, face painting\, bouncy cow\, cornhole game and stick around for the 4H demonstration at 1pm. \n20% of admission fee and vendor fees are being reserved to help supplement cost for transportation to bring seniors to the farm.
